► Introduction

  • This is a short guide on my full support build for Jenos, it works quite well with the current double-tank meta and allows big sustain for your teammates as well as you.

► Champion Abilities

  • Star Splitter - Left Click (default)
    [Direct Damage] An otherworldly weapon that channels the power of the stars. Deals 120 damage every 0.13s at medium range.
     
  • Astral Mark - Right Click (default)
    ○ Apply a celestial blessing through all obstacles, healing for 250 Health every second for 10 seconds.
     

  • Void Grip - Q key (default)
    [Direct Damage] Channel gravitational energy and lift an enemy up, dealing 150 damage every second for 2.5s. If the victim manages to move while lifted it will interrupt Void Grip.
     

  • Stellar Wind - F key (default)
    ○ Lower your weapon and move 75% faster while increasing your jump height and lowering your fall speed.
     

  • [Ultimate] Through Time and Space - E key (default)
    [Area Damage] Lock yourself in place and gather the power of the cosmos for 1.5s becoming CC immune, then unleash your energy in a long range blast that pierces through all obstacles and deals 2400 damage.

► When to Pick Celestial Touch

  • Jenos has very underrated healing potential, here's when to pick this one:
    ○ Your team doesn't have a main healer yet - that's your job!
    ○ You have atleast one strong frontline tank locked in; Inara, Fernando, Makoa, Barik, Torvald and Ash can fill this role - again we aren't being pure meta here.
    ○ You have either 2 damages and 1 flank or 1 damage and 2 flanks locked in.

► The Cards

  • Relativity II - Bit of self-sustain
  • Retrograde IV - Reduce heal cooldown
  • Astral Cycle II - Bit of extra hp to heal target
  • Sidereal I - Reveal is great for chasing and predicting 
  • Lightyears III - Range means you don't have to be in the middle of the fight

► Possible Deck Edits

  • I think you can edit this deck only a little, the buffs from the cards are so good it'd be silly to swap them out. However, Sidereal could be swapped out for something you'd prefer more however as a level one its great.

► Some Pointers for This Build

  • Playing a healer is rather rewarding, but just because are a healer doesn't mean you can't do some damage:
    ○ You don't just need to heal, as Jenos you can do plenty of damage and use your Void Grip to isolate enemies!
    Don't neglect your damage dealers, sure keeping your tank alive is important but your damage dealers get you the kills! 
    Void Grip can isolate an enemy and secure kills.
    ○ Use Stellar Wind to repostion or to avoid a big damage attack/ultimate.
    Through Time and Space is great for disrupting the enemy team, securing a kill on an unexpecting foe and for dealing big damage to a stacked team..
  • Heal, shoot some damage into the enemies, reload and then heal again.. rinse and repeat this honestly a very nice way to use up time in between heals and possibly get a kill or two.

► Items

  • Defense - Whichever is needed most
    ○ *See Defense Guide Below*
     
  • Utility - Chronos
    ○ As your heal is a high cooldown in comparison to Seris' and Mal'Damba's, to keep up with them I would run Chronos.
     
  • Healing - Kill to Heal
    ○ Kill to Heal isn't exactly needed which is why the other 3 are more important but it can be handy because you can burst out a lot of damage to closer targets and by using your ult.
     
  • Attack - Cauterize
    ○ Rifles are great for helping to spread some Cauterize around the enemies, and to continuely Cauterize a single enemy.

► Order of Items

  1. Start with the Chronos and get it to level II.
  2. Secondly go for your defensive item and get that to level I or level II depending on if you're being pressured.
  3. Then get your Cauterize item to level III.
  4. Get Chronos to level III.
  5. Get defensive to level III.
  6. Kill to Heal there-after (can you even get enough credits hehe).

► Defense Guide

  • Illuminate - Increase the range at which you see nearby stealthed targets by 15 units/30 units/45 units (200/400/600 credits)
    ○ Purchase only if there is an enemy Skye whom is causing a lot of trouble, otherwise the other items are a better choice as Illuminate really isn't that strong.
     
  • Resilience - Reduce the duration of Crowd Control and Slows by 30%/60%/90% (200/400/600 credits)
    ○ Purchase if there is two or three high crowd control enemy Champions, I recommend picking this up even if their only crowd control is a Bomb King as you negate his ability and his ultimate.
    ○ However, this item counters: Seris (Ultimate), Mal'Damba (Ultimate/Ripened Gourd), Grover (using Crippling Roots legendary), Pip (Ultimate/especially if using Catalyst legendary), Ash (Abilities), Inara (Ultimate/Ability), Torvald (Ultimate), Sha Lin (Ability), Grohk (Ability/especially if using Maelstrom legendary), Buck (Ability), Evie (Ultimate) & Maeve (Ultimate). As you can see, it's underrated!
     
  • Blast Shields - Reduce the Damage you take from Area of Effect attacks by 7%/14%/21% (300/600/900 credits)
    ○ Purchase if there is two or three high Area of Effect damage enemy Champions, especially if their main damage is coming from them. You may even pick it up just to counter one enemy that's persistant to kill you.
    ○ However, this item counters: Ash, Bomb King, Drogoz, Evie, Fernando, Pip, Seris & Willo. Also known as, the serious damage dealers!
     
  • Haven - Reduce the Damage you take from Direct attacks by 7%/14%/21% (300/600/900 credits)
    ○ Purchase if there is two or three high Direct damage enemy Champions, especially if their main damage is coming from them. You may even pick it up just to counter one enemy that's persistant to kill you.
    ○ However, this item counters: Androxus, Barik, Buck, Cassie, Grohk, Grover, Inara, Jenos, Kinessa, Lex, Lian, Maeve, Makoa, Mal'Damba, Ruckus, Sha Lin, Skye, Torvald, Tyra, Victor, Ying & Zhin. Also known as, most of the Champions!
